At the beginning of the first lockdown, I decided that, each day, I would post a picture on Facebook of a flower. It was an easy thing to do; if you remember, it was a beautiful spring, and every day saw nature producing new loveliness. People said the pictures cheered them up, and taking them certainly lifted my spirits. I’m still (in February 2021) doing it in a slightly more haphazard way – it’s more of a challenge in winter.
I know flowers are nothing to do with books, but as I was updating this website, I thought it might be nice to collect a selection together. So here they are.
